An additional way to support Children's Hospital Oakland is through the donation of toys and supplies for our patients, and toiletries for patient-parents. "In-kind" donations or non-cash donations such as new toys, books, stuffed animals, craft materials, and other items can go a long way in giving a patient and their family comfort.

Memorial or Honor Gifts
A memorial or honor gift to Children's Hospital is a meaningful way. Recognize the accomplishment of a friend or family member with an honor gift. Remember the life of a friend, relative, or colleague with a memorial gift. Create a tribute
page to share the story of a loved one and raise funds to help advance pediatric medicine. You can honor special people in your life, and at the same time touch the lives of sick children and their families.
Imagine if you could help advance pediatric healthcare, both locally and globally, and achieve your retirement and estate planning goals at the same time. Gift planning provides a number of easy giving options for the donor who has ever said, “I wish I could do more”. The most important gifts we receive each year are from donors who have included a gift in their will or living trust. Regardless of the size, these gifts express the donor’s legacy of caring for the health and well being of our community's children – now and for years to come. Gift planning can also help supplement your retirement income and save taxes, and your plan can be tailored to meet your financial situation and goals. A good friend who left a gift in his living trust once said that gift planning is for the donor who wants to "help save tomorrow’s children”.

Your donation can twice as far. Making your charitable gift go twice as far is easy—many companies match their employees’ charitable contributions, and some companies even match the gifts of spouses or retirees.
