Children's Specialty Care Walnut Creek has the only Child Life specialist in Contra Costa County

Child Life Specialist Patty Restaino, CCLS, will provide developmentally appropriate education and preparation for your child's surgical or diagnostic procedure.

Children's Child Life specialists work as a team member with doctors and clinicians to develop the best approach to meet your child's medical and emotional needs throughout their time with us. Our team goal is to provide healthcare for your child and family that will be another positive experience in your child's development and emotional growth.
