Rheumatology

Rheumatology staff at Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland see patients from birth to age 18. Our rheumatology team works closely with other Children's specialists to provide your child comprehensive care.

We evaluate and treat many suspected rheumatic disorders, including joint pains, swelling, arthritis, vasculitis (an inflammation of the blood vessel system), disorders of musculoskeletal inflammation, soft-tissue rheumatism, or any multi-organ condition with a suspected immunologic or post-infectious cause.

Referral
Ask your primary care pediatrician for a referral.

Outpatient Center, OaklandMap/Directions
• Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
• Tuesdays, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Walnut Creek Physicians' Offices — Map/Directions
• 2nd and 3rd Tuesdays of each month, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.(if requested).
Pleasanton Physicians' Office — Map/Directions
• Wednesdays, 1 - 5 p.m. (if requested)
