Nephrology
Nephrologists at Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland provide care for children from birth through age 18 who have renal disease; long-term patients are seen up to age 21 years. Nephrology deals with the function and diseases of the kidneys.

Families may call to schedule an appointment after referral by a physician and obtaining appropriate referral paperwork.
