The Emergency Department 2 area at Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland is for patients coming to the Emergency Department who are less acutely ill.
Children’s Hospital has the San Francisco Bay Area’s only pediatric emergency department. It is one of only two Level 1 pediatric trauma centers between Los Angeles and Seattle, and treats children from birth to 18 years.
