Clinical Social Services
A child's health crisis can disrupt the whole family. Social workers at Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland help patients and their families access healthcare services, cope with stressful circumstances, and learn how to take advantage of their own resources. The Clinical Social Services department helps inpatients and outpatients and their families coordinate with their physicians, other hospital staff and community agencies.
