No matter what brings you to Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland, we’re here to help. Bringing your child to the hospital, whether for a routine exam or a surgical procedure, can be scary. So we’ve prepared a guide to what to expect, and how to prepare your child and yourself for a stay at Children’s.

If you’re coming to Children’s to visit a patient, to volunteer or for other reasons, we also want to help you find what you’re looking for, whether it's visiting hours, or where you can find food, an ATM or the Family Resource & Information Center.

We're Northern California’s only independent children’s medical center, focusing all our attention on kids; thank you for entrusting your child’s care to us.
